The residents within a master-planned community not only showcase diverse personalities but shine a light on how people from all walks of life create a cohesive, welcoming and reliable community foundation.

Get to know some of the incredible people who are helping to shape Aureus in Skennars Head, New South Wales and the surrounding area and create a well-rounded community.

Lennox Lawns

Married dream team, Brett & Lalie not only reside within the Aureus estate with their family but run local landscaping business, Lennox Lawns.

Lennox Lawns is a large landscaping group that runs between Ballina and Byron Bay, servicing the needs of Northern Coast communities. For the last four years, Lennox Lawns has been tasked with maintaining the communal greenspaces found within Aureus. The lifestyle at Aureus is perfectly catered to their needs and allows them the opportunity to both live and work at the estate.

“Working and living in Aureus is easy. We can come home for lunch, pick the kids up from school and it’s just so central to everything,” explained Brett.

“Since we’ve been living at Aureus, we’ve actually had a lot of our family move up here,” added Lalie.

“They’ve come up for holidays and once they see where we are, and the lifestyle we live, they’re sold.”

Williams Street

Williams Street Bar & Kitchen is a seaside staple, known for its good vibes and great coffee. Located on the corner of Williams Street and Pacific Parade in Lennox Head, Williams Street provides all-day breakfast & lunch 7 days a week. On Friday and Saturday nights, the space transforms into a lively dinner and drinks venue complete with live music, cocktails and beer on tap.

Owned by Aureus resident, Jeremy, Williams Street has been servicing the local community for the last seven years. Not only does it make for a very short commute but offers the perfect backdrop with Lennox Head beach a short walk across the road. Jeremy lives at Aureus with his family and appreciates the incredibly flexible and active lifestyle it affords.

“By late afternoon, we can get out of the café, pop across the road to the beach for a swim or have a surf, take the kids to the park and the dog for a walk, because we don’t waste time on commutes,” Jeremy explained.

Beachside Bubbles

Avant Townhome resident, Pam recently purchased into Aureus alongside her husband, Rob. Having made the move from Canberra, Pam identified the perfect business opportunity that would allow her to build genuine connections with her community.

Working alongside the Aureus team, Pam was able to set up her business Beachside Bubbles – a pop-up food and dining experience located outside the Aureus Sales Centre. With Sharpes Beach as the backdrop, it’s the perfect chance to soak up the sunshine, embrace the breathtaking ocean views and get to know other members of the community.

“It’s quite a different experience. It’s not a typical bar or event, it’s small, boutique, and nice and personalised,” explained Pam.

“I didn’t really know anyone here before moving to the area, apart from family. It’s been a great way to meet a lot of the locals because they come along to Beachside Bubbles, but I also get to find out what they’re up to and how they are enjoying the area we live.”

Beachside Bubbles will be operating every Saturday between 1 pm and 7 pm outside our sales centre until December 7th, 2024.

The Fit Way

Committed to providing a safe and secure environment for women’s fitness, Aureus resident, Emma founded The Fit Way.

Hosting classes in Aureus’ playground and BBQ area in front of the Village Green, Emma runs a series of morning classes aimed at encouraging women to lead healthier, active lifestyles. The class, being located next to the communal playground also affords busy mums the chance to work out while their kids play.

Living at Aureus with her husband, and nine-year-old son, Emma appreciates being able to pursue her passion only moments from her front door.

“We left a busy city in Sydney, and the more we drove down here we just fell in love with the area. There’s so much going on, but you don’t have all the traffic. It’s a really nice work-life balance,” shared Emma.
